Embellish with eyes, ribbon, beads, pompoms, or anything you’d like.

You can also make two of the same bunnies and whip stitch them together (with the backs on the inside – omit ears on the 2nd bunny).  This creates a more finished piece.

Happy crocheting!

  1. Hey Katie,

I've been crocheting since the early 70's. I just love your applique patterns, but I find them very hard to read and understand. For instance on the Somebunny Special pattern above, I have no clue what to do in #3 of any of the directions. Can you either post what your abbreviations are or maybe write things out without abbreviations. I wouldn't ask or bother you with this except I make baby hats to donate to one of my local hospital labor and delivery departments, and many of your appliques would look so beautiful on the hats I make. My email address is dalmatiAnmom@comcast.net Thank you so much!!! Karen
